110 Pocket Camera


I have loved photography from a very young age. I remember the excitement of getting my first camera; it was a pocket 110 film camera with a flip up view finder. Kodak sold a roll of film and the camera together for a quick grab alternative to a disposable camera. The next few days I went around town trying to capture images of the things around me that I found important at the age of 8. So even though I knew nothing of photography beyond wind, point, and click: I still felt the thrill of trying to show others what I saw and trying to do it with only 10 exposures. I still get those photos out from time to time and it takes me back to the sights, sounds, and smells of when I unwittingly snapped a few pictures as a kid.

Today I'm following my dream of showing others what I see when I look out over the mountains or at a car in a parking lot. I am capturing memories of loved ones for lifelong reflection. I hope that one day decades from now, people that I took photos for, will get the joy of looking at timeless shots and remembering....
